I felt that defeat more than the others, we controlled the first 45 but barely did anything to hurt them but it was probably our best 45 for some time. Everton were short on confidence and I'd have happily taken a point, a 0-0 but we just cant manage that even.
Too many players went missing, in Mooys favour I thnk 3 games in a week has always been a tough ask for him and without attacking options marauding down the wings we go side to side or lump it when Mounie came on - very disappointing. Set pieces shocking and Evertons defence had an easy afternoon for all our stats.
Williams got shunted to temporary centre half in a 3 we lost midfield, Ince, Kachunga & Palmer although busy didnt do much of anything we seemed frightened to be bold and try something individual. Its a pity cos Lossl is playing well, we are just so lacking in quality and bravery but most of all we're not crowding out the opponents like we did early season to give us the platform to counter with slowly getting it forward to face 2 banks of 4
Hate to say but BHA is a 6 pointer now and that alone piles additional pressure on an under performing squad and management team.
Some unrest amongst the support surfacing for the first time this season, bit of argy bargy amongst arguing finger pointers, many left way before the whistle and the noise subsided well before the end. Wagners interview showed signs of concern.
Tough week to try re-group to re-energize - we need quality in the January window from somewhere, in this run of form we could be sunk by Jan 1st otherwise.

Have to agree with others here. We are crying out for a bit more Premier League experience because as it is now we slowly sinking down towards the bottom 3.
The BHA game next week is massive for the club,m3 points and it takes the pressure off a bit, a point at least stops the rot but a defeat will be costly.
Away form is a real problem, loads of possession without doing anything with it and even then Everton had the best chances to score...goals change games Waggers and we quite simply don't score enough home or away. First goal for Town is massive, we score first and it gives us something to hang on to. They score first and its goodnight Vienna...heads drop, confidence goes out of the window and we may as well all go home.

Exactly. You look at the fixtures at the start of the season and these last three games would've been nil pointers in anybody's eyes. It's only cos Everton have had a poor start that we thought we might get summat there.
I'm happy with the progress we're making.
