I've thought for a while that HRK looks more of an instant goalmouth threat than Rondon. When Super Bob had a goal drought in the 1990s, the King famously took him to one side and told him "just stop trying so bloody hard", and for me that's the difference between Rondon and HRK right now. When Rondon gets the ball in the box he wants about five touches and seven turns to get a shot away (possibly because he knows it might be his only chance of the half, and wants to get it bang on the mark); but as he did for Wales tonight, Robson-Kanu just gets himself in a position and has an honest guts-and-glory go at sticking it in the net first time. And hey, it works.
