The usual suspects will been named, already Moyes, Davies and Alexander have been linked although the club have stated they are not going back to ex managers which in my view is the right move, need to move forward not back.
Likely names Rosler as he is local and wouldn't cost an arm or a leg to prise away from Fleetwood however apart from his spell at Brentford did not have a good period at Wigan and was not given long enough by the crazy Italian at Leeds.
Ainsworth nat Wycombe has been mentioned, no experience at hiher level though but will have his sides giving 100%, Jones at Luton would be a good shout.
Possibly might have been a good job for Michael Appleton but he's disappeared of to Leicester a few weeks back. Personally like the two lads at Lincoln they seem to have something going for them also might be the type of job to tempt Karl Robinson away from Charlton. Michael O'Neill Northern Ireland manager is also an interesting name in the frame but by this time next week we shall know.
However comes in will have a very promising squad who could possibly achieve better things

There's a young manager called Gary Caldwell at Chesterfield.

I'd hate anyone at Preston feeling an approach would be dishonourable.

He'd be neatly-wrapped ..... in the original box.
