AC'll never be a Frances Urquhart if being called a bellend is a problem, though at least it shows he has no boys to send round ......... unlike some people involved with the club.

Which aspects of the club are functional?

If GC gets chucked from a parapet can you imagine Guy the Gorilla in charge? Mind you it'd be like Reservoir Dogs getting rid of him. And where would we find a volunteer for Mr Pink?

We've all been called certain words at one time or another but you just rise above it.

I've been reading Bob's Board, particularly the thread which is "Could we go down again". Now it's not impossible for us to go down again you only have to look at Hartlepool, Leyton Orient, Bristol Rovers, Tranmere. Bristol Rovers are back in L1 after bouncing back very quickly. A lot of people think we are too big to go down well I disagree look at Coventry and how far they've fallen from the Championship. It could happen and I think we better prepare for if it happens.

Add to that list Wrexham, Macclesfield, York, Torquay etc etc the list is endless. Its certainly not impossible and the way we are heading into this campaign is the worst for many years. With AC/GC in control there's no chance of the spark we will need. This season promises to be a damp squib.
In all honesty if it meant getting rid of Allen and Carson I would take the drop but am not sure even that would make them go.

DA is handcuffed to a drowning man.

Surprisingly, not many people are offering to buy a drowning man.

But DA has to sell him as he has invested so much money in the drowning man, but the more he drowns the less attractive he becomes to the market.

And the drowning man knows he is going to drown, because he's handcuffed to a heavy old man who is cussedly refusing either to swim for both of them or set him free.

Does anyone else think the Blades took a look at GC's squad-building and decided they couldn't ruin a promising player like David Brooks by letting us have him?

I do think it'll be a 6 or 7 team battle for who goes down and unless we invest in players we will be one of those involved. The list of shortcomings at the club and on the field is pretty overwhelming. Much as we speculate about the future, AC, GC, or Guy the Pickled Gorilla, the truth is the problem hasn't changed. We are going down for a second time, handcuffed to an old man who won't let us swim.

The little tinker Ashley certainly seems to be dropping himself in the doo doo. It seems its not the first time he has sent offensive messages. The last time was to a young kid it seems who hadn't even called him a Bellend. He didn't claim somebody hijacked his computer for that one either. Just reading the posts on Bobs Board really is quite amusing. The man just keeps digging and digging.
