Scottish Youth Cup final on at Hampden tonight: Celtic v Sevco
#1
A lotta promising young players will be 'on show' tonight and, who knows, a small number of them may pull on a 1st team strip some day. Celtic definitely the favourites after winning the Glasgow Cup final v Gers last season and it will be an interesting final in front of a probable 10k-15k crowd.

Interesting to see Celtic now play with a very Scottish core to their side.

And also a few promising Scottish kids in this current youth side although some of them just 17-18 yoa. I must say Celtic really have a stranglehold on pulling best young talent at under 20s, under 17s and under 15s youth dev level - again very difficult for other Scottish footie clubs to keep up with it but they must organise themselves as effectively as poss with the best available youth coaches and scouting resources.

FT and a comfortable 3-0 win for Celtic youth team with their captain, Wardrop, scoring the opening goal as he did in the previous cup final v Gers.

watched 20 mins
looked so one sided we deserved the win

I see the bitter ones are complaining that we were to old and big for them, it was the technique I noticed, Celtic players all comfortable with ball to feet, pass and move.
Couple of really good prospects there Nesbitt and Aitchison looked not far off a first team place.
and to the bitter ones who where saying "BUT BUT we had so many players out on loan and playing with the big team or out on loan.....if they had played it would have been a different score"
Celtic could have played Tierney, Eboue, Roberts, Dembele and Ajer all would have been eligible for us.
So much for David's (glib and shameless) comments no the "marvellous work that has been achieved by the Academy over the last two years."

just as well they are doing well
