It's been strongly rumoured for a while in Leith that Danny would be coming to ER on a free transfer in the summer. However, the most bizarre incident took place this afternoon between two Saint Johnstone team mates in the Hamilton tunnel at HT - one of them being young Danny, the other one being Foster who apparently suffered kicks to the head. Both players red carded, Saints bizarrely down to 9 players and both arrested by the Police, no doubt for involvement in an affray!! I'll bet his hibee dad will be having palpitations tonight after hearing about this needless altercation and god knows what punitive action the Saint Johnstone manager, Tommy Wright, will initiate once he recovers from the shock!! Also Danny's possible chances of a deal at ER gone forever?

What they did was way,way worse than the stramash between lenny and duffy,be interesting to see how the press report it. I guess they might try and shoehorn some reference to lennon in their headline though. The way they have hounded and misrepresented him over the years really is disgusting,i don't think that would happen in any other country.

These guys are all involved in football,they are not captains of industry or politicians they are competitors in a highly physical,passionate game and things are prone to go 'over the score' from time to time. Sometimes discipline goes out the window.

Re Lenny's position Jim, I thought he was 'spot on' in a recent bbc radio interview when he briefly commented that he was still an 'easy target' for the press and media even though he has deliberately kept a low profile down the months.
