So - the declaration of undying support from the chairman has struck again.
What a bloody stupid decision. How will they get enough points to stay up now? Almost hope they don't.

There needs to be a lot of players looking at themselves in the mirror today at Leicester!!! A number of them got huge pay increases on the back of the remarkable success last season and this season have simply failed to show up. The crazy thing is what do the fans and owners expect from Leicester?? Last season was the blip of all blips, they are and likely always will be a team who lives in the bottom half of the prem, with the odd season where they flirt with the top 10 and those seasons where they go down. Last season is not the yardstick they should be measuring themselves against!!!!

Yet another example of why I can't stand Leicester. Ranieri gave them the greatest gift of all with their title win last season and it's disgraceful to have sacked him after such a short period of time.
Fully deserving of relegation now after that move and I'll be actively rooting for it.
They'll need to get a move on with this Jamie Vardy movie. The finale will be Leicester getting boo'd off the field after a 1-1 away at Barnsley next season at this rate!

I didn't think they'd go down. Now I hope they do, and I doubt if the owners will attract anyone who can keep them up.

I agree, BV - I just can't see how the players will now click into winning mode for another HC at this stage of the season. With Ranieri I think they still had a good chance, now I don't.
I would also think that most football people will now WANT them to go down whereas before today that would've been the opposite.
PS .....Ska'd - I can't see how a whole season could be called a 'blip'! I really don't think his achievements should be underestimated
