Yeah just had a look and the date is wrong. Well easy mistake to make seeing as Huddersfield got to many Cup finals back in the 20s and 30s

Interesting to note the slightly awkward demeanour of the players, compared to many of today's big-headed prima donnas.

Its because back then they were more down to earth and were like anybody else and they got paid to do something they love, where today the players in the Premier league etc care more about the money and lifestyle than the love of the game and they take it for granted. Also back then certain teams and players would have a full time job in the week alongside playing e.g Tom Finney was a plumber.
I read an interesting story about Tom Finney. If Preston were playing at home on a Saturday he would go to work on the day of the match and finish at dinnertime and he would go home and get a brown paper bag which had his boots in and would then walk to the ground to get ready and prepare for the game at 3 o'clock. After the game he would walk home with his boots in the brown paper bag. Also I heard that players in the 60s and 70s would catch the bus home with the fans after a game. You couldn't see a Premier League footballer doing that today.
