James Easdale has resigned

Aye, inevitable really. He knows they're on to a loser. The rest of them must know it too.
However, I have some concerns. What happens if the rest of the board resigns en masse, triggering the resignation of the NOMAD as previously threatened,. Would the shares be suspended on AIM? If so, how much of a problem would that be?

I think the NOMAD would have to serve a period of notice but generally I think you have a month to appoint a new NOMAD (although this might also be a month from when they give notice) at which point the shares would be tradeable again. If not the company would probably be de-listed. The only real harm that would do is to prevent us having future public share offerings the way we can now.

Balance of power shifts decisively with this.
Does this stop the board making at decisions that might affect the ability of a new board to act?
Ah right, so the share suspension is immediate, but simply become tradeable again on appointment of the new NOMAD (which King says he already has lined up).
There'd be an awful lot of shareholders angry if the company was de-listed, I suspect. Another thing that concerns me is King's plan for funding us for the next two or three years. What exactly does it involve? (25-02-2015, 10:55)TheWorthinGer Wrote: Balance of power shifts decisively with this. With Sandy Easdale only on the football board, doesn't this move remove the 'Easdale block' completely from RIFC? Any significant decisions that require a vote won't have a chance of being passed, surely?

You have to wonder who has been\is now in cahoots with who?

This is the RIFC Board : Chairman David Somers, Finance Director Barry Leach and Chief Executive Officer Derek Llambias.
Of the three, only David Somers has shares in RIFC (per Rangers' Investor website). Skysports - James Easdale resigns as a director of Rangers Comment following the SSN article : jimmy hendrix says 25/02/15 8:47am 1 down, 3 to go. although I expect the new lot to be just as bad, in this circus. Or as Pete Townsend wrote : 'Here's to the new boss, Same as the old boss.' ! ... Don't get fooled again.

Or, as Prince put it, "there's thieves in the Temple tonight!".
There's no denying that previous boards pissed away many millions through greed, mismanagement or a mixture of both. This current board appears to be doing everything it can to protect the interests of a minority shareholder while driving away the lifeblood of the club: its fans. And I mean the ones who attend the games. Can you imagine what the crowds would be like next year if the present incumbents remained in situ? You'd only need to open one stand. King and Co can't be any worse. I intend to be at both the Cowdenbeath and Hearts home games, and I fully expect sell out crowds and a support reinvigorated with the promise of change. Full house, full voice, fulcrum.

Correction, I misquoted Pete Townshend..
Apologies for the misquote ('Here's to' instead of 'Meet'), but I still maintain that it is between the devil and the deep blue sea, or frying pan and fire, with the two camps at the EGM. 'Don't get fooled again' stands. "Won't Get Fooled Again" lyrics In response to a question on NOT606-Rangers, NO, I am not Charles Green !
