Well, it ended up being a close run thing to see who made it through to the final!! 4 players went into battle after a long hard season and as a start off all of them got the Gamball wrong, so it went down to the regular games. Here is how they ended up:

1. Derby - 13
=2. Minizin - 10
=2. Zinman - 10
4. Twerton - 2

Derby ended up the winner after posting 2 correct scores, one being on the Bonus and 2 correct results.

After the last week of the season I spoke about Group A just playing for bragging rights in the final week and that Minizin took those rights over Zinman last week but the real bragging rights were on the line this week in the POs. So naturally the two Zins both finished on 10 points, both of them had 1 correct score and both had 3 correct results!! They both missed the Gamball and the scoreball and both got a CR on the Bonus, so there was nothing to separate them at all.

And so we get back to those bragging rights I was talking about and once again despite a late attempt to sway the Board of Directors to add in an age related tie breaker, which was not approved, Minizin takes the 4th spot in the final courtesy of the bragging rights he earned last week when he overtook Zinman’s total score for the season!!!

Twerton unfortunately had a poor week with only 2 points despite getting one CS like the others. He missed on all his balls and this is what led to his elimination.

So Derby and Minizin join Themaclad and St Charles Owl in the final. May the best man (or Owl Whistle ) win!!!!
