Saturday 11th Jan and matches all over the country postponed. How the hell is Buxton at home to Chorley being played? On ice?

It`s glorious up here today, Dancing. The girls have been out in their bikinis sunbathing in Pavilion Gardens.

How are the floods down there in Catalonia?

Silverlands isn't grass, so it doesn't become an ice rink.

Just a clear and present danger to every ACL.

No floods here SGB. 20 degrees and sunny last 3 days which is a tad warm even here for the time of year. Interestingly next week is down to 11 max during the day and zero at night for 4 days then it's winter over and back up to 18 again. Weather everywhere is all over the place.
We can see the Pyrenees from where we live, they were covered in snow enough for skiing in November then it all melted early December. The peaks have a light covering again now.
Was back in the UK for Christmas that was enough for me, couldn't wait to get back.
Enjoy the sun in Pavilion Gardens .

Serious question, how come so many games have been postponed on plastic pitches but this one went ahead?

There is still snow and ice hanging around but it's slowly starting to thaw and should be gone by Tuesday or Wednesday.

I was surprised the game between Buxton and Chester went ahead. I also found out Farsley Celtic play there home games at Buxton because they are homeless.
