The clock on here has been out of kilter ever since I can remember ...... It has something to do with the speed of light and all the stars being no more than a view into history.

That seems to have worked. Much appreciated, Snoots. Do you charge for consultations?

At least two hours of space time has passed Snoots, and no one has come on to argue with your conclusion ...........
Dancing will hardly be able to contain himself, Dobbie the House Elf worked his magic yet again. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL if I can't think of anything I need to say and probably shouldn't before then.

Dobras goal Saturday was top drawer. Since Cook tweaked his system slightly to 4-1-4-1 both Dobra and Mandeville have shone. They drop back alongside Banks when the opposition have the ball and move up when we have it. It's working well.
Merry Christmas everyone.
Big Bore Exhaust = Small Dick
Seriously I think Dobra is one of those players who always wants to play and to be involved. He gets taken off quite a lot and I'm sure deep down he wants to stay out there. When he isn't getting involved and the team is doing poorly that to me is a major sign that something really does need looking at. To Mr Cook's credit he has tinkered. It need not be a major change but it can have a major impact on a player and a team.
At our level and at Division One I'm convinced Dobra would be one of the first names on any teamsheet. The next little step up to the Championship might be questionable though if a player the size of Chair at QPR can be a star ...... maybe anything is possible. (Did you ever imagine Sam Morsy would captain a team in the Premier League?) I have to admit that I was absolutely convinced that we would lose on Saturday. All I really knew about Wimbledink was that they were a big side and having seen how we were overpowered by Notts County's Jatta I feared the worst. Certainly the Stats (in particular the shot count) suggest our victory owed a lot to resilience under pressure. Mr Cook deserves praise for the committed defence he selected, because a clean sheet was an achievement (and a clean sheet is one point you've got as you kick off). And yes, against big sides cockiness in little buggers like Dobra and Markanday is a great asset. Big blokes rarely know how to handle cocky little sods.

In which case - thanks very much, Amelia. All help gratefully accepted.
As regards Dobra I think he`s one of those `flair` players that Cookie loves, as do I; very much like Markandy. They`re the sort of players who will always stand out, for better or worse. When they`re off form they will try things that don`t come off and will get stick for it, but when they`re on form they can be virtually unplayable. Because of the positions they play, Dobs` bad days are more noticeable and potentially more costly. Personally, I love watching both of them play and will keep doing so as long as we have them. Best wishes to all. Have a good Christmas and a great 2025.
