Hibs v Aberdeen - Sunday 12 May
#1
Just re-read the last few match threads to get the gist of this match thread, especially.....

"Last week against St Johnstone Ross County we also lost a late goal after dominating the game, so it's clear where our problems lie. We are easily good enough to get the win, but it is Hibs we're talking about, so you just never know. The likes of Simon Murray Biojan Miovski and Junior Hoilett will try to run our defence off their feet and Ross Laidlaw Kelle Roos at the other end will play an important part too."

Maybe a visit to church for a prayer or two wouldn't go amiss.

That's enough now. I know we've had a lot of managers last few years but this has to stop.

These players have completely downed tools, not tackling or trying to close down or squeeze play at all. There is zero point in giving Montgomery more time because its patently clear from this season that he doesn't improve players, make the right choices with formations, or manage games properly.

An absolute humiliation for our club and its supporters, and we were actually lucky because Aberdeen should have scored more.

I hope the powers that be are seeking out managerial options NOW. And they need to get this choice right because this person will be working on a rebuild that will take 2 seasons at least.

EDIT - Heard his post match interview - The man is completely deluded, if he had any integrity he'd be handing in his resignation in the morning.

I rather foolishly turned up at Easter Road on Sunday - a day out of my life I will never get back - and I got soaked on the way back to the bus!.

Montgomery is a dead man walking. He has absolutely no idea, half of the players are not interested, half of the rest have no incentive to do better, the loan players won't be back as they're not getting any player development in this Hibs side. He couldn't even organise a substitution for Lewis Stevenson. It's time for a mutual consent agreement.

Aberdeen strolled through the game and they haven't lost a goal in the past 6 weeks (we've lost 10 in that time). There's the secret, don't lose any goals and you'll pick up points.
