Millwall have signed forward Aaron Connolly from fellow Championship side Sunderland on a permanent deal.
Connolly becomes Alex Neil's first signing since taking over as head coach at The Den.
The 24-year-old has made 11 appearances for the Black Cats since moving to the club in the summer, scoring one goal.
Connolly, who has nine caps for Republic of Ireland, will replace Tom Bradshaw in the Lions squad.
Bradshaw, 32, completed a transfer to Oxford United on Thursday.
Connolly began his career at Brighton & Hove Albion, where he made 56 appearances and scored eight goals, before spending time at Luton Town, Middlesbrough and Venezia on loan.
He moved to Hull City on loan in January 2023 and signed permanently for the Tigers that summer.
In total, he played 36 times for the club, scoring 10 goals.
"Aaron's been a bit unlucky not to play a bit more at Sunderland this season, but that has given us an opportunity to get him in," Millwall's director of football Steve Gallen told the club's website., external
"Still only 24, Aaron has a lot of experience for his age. He is at his best when running at defenders and we hope he gets plenty of opportunities to do that with us."
Millwall have not stated the length of Connolly's contract. He could make his debut against his former club Hull City on Saturday.
Put simply, Aaron Connolly's time at Sunderland never really got going.
He arrived late after a difficult summer dealing with personal issues which he bravely spoke about shortly after moving to Wearside.
But by that time, Frenchman Wilson Isidor was finding his stride as the Black Cats' main man up front in boss Regis Le Bris' favoured 4-3-3 formation.
Connolly needed a run of games to find his rhythm, but that never came.
He scored his only goal in the 1-1 draw at Millwall in one of only two starts, but he did not even come off the bench in Sunderland's next game. That was proof of where he sat in the pecking order.
The move to The Den is probably best for all parties because, as Connolly showed last season at Hull, there is a very talented Championship player waiting to come out.

Millwall have signed Brentford defender Tristan Crama on a long-term contract for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old French centre-back was recalled from his loan spell at Exeter City by the Bees on Thursday after helping to keep nine clean sheets across his 26 appearances for the Grecians.
He was signed by Brentford B from French club AS Beziers in 2020 and spent last season on loan with Bristol Rovers in League One.
"Tristan is a player we've been watching for a while," Millwall director of football Steve Gallen said, external.
"He is a young, mobile centre-half who can handle the ball. There were a few clubs in for him but he chose us - I'm really pleased we managed to secure his signature."
Crama, who is new Millwall boss Alex Neil's second signing of the January window, will be available for the Lions' home game against Hull City on Saturday (12:30 GMT).

Millwall have signed teenage forward Ajay Matthews from fellow Championship side Middlesbrough for an undisclosed fee.
The 18-year-old has agreed what the Lions say is a "long-term contract" at The Den.
The England Under-17 striker made two substitute appearances in the Championship late last season as well as featuring in Boro's academy team.
"Ajay's an old-fashioned centre-forward who we've identified as having a number of positive attributes already for his young age," Millwall director of football Steve Gallen told the club website., external
"His pressing, aerial threat and the desire to have the ball to feet is impressive and - most importantly - he loves to score goals.
"He is only 18 years old, so we will have to be patient and protect the expectations around him.
"He will be out there training with the first team everyday, which will be key in his development. We look forward to seeing the impact he can make in the future."

Millwall have signed Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Luke Cundle for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old has scored eight goals in 72 Championship appearances across loans at Swansea City, Plymouth Argyle and Stoke City.
He made seven senior appearances for Wolves, having graduated from the club's academy, and has signed a "long-term" contract with the Lions.
"Luke has Championship and some Premier League experience - he is a midfielder who is comfortable on the ball, is full of energy and wants to run and play forward," Millwall's director of football Steve Gallen told the club's website., external
Cundle becomes Alex Neil's fourth signing of the January transfer window, following Aaron Connolly, Tristan Crama and Ajay Matthews - who joined the club on Thursday - through the door at The Den.
The Lions sit 14th in the Championship with 37 points and face Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.

Millwall have broken their club record fee to sign Sparta Rotterdam winger Camiel Neghli.
The 23-year-old Dutch-born Algerian Under-20 international's fee is greater than the reported £2.8m Millwall spent on Mihailo Ivanovic last summer.
Neghli moved to Sparta from De Graafschap in the summer of 2023 and has scored 10 goals in 47 league appearances for the Rotterdam side.
"I'm over the moon to welcome Camiel to the club," Millwall's director of football Steve Gallen told the club website, external.
"We've been monitoring him for a long time and believe he's the right type of player to add real quality to the side.
"He has demonstrated the ability to not only operate as a right-winger, but also pose a threat in the number 10 role.
"He's quick, dynamic, and whilst naturally left-footed, he's not afraid to shoot and score goals with both feet."

Millwall club captain Shaun Hutchinson will leave the club this summer when his contract expires.
The 34-year-old defender departs having made 268 appearances during his time at the Den, scoring 14 times.
One of those goals was a memorable one at Bristol Rovers on the final day of the 2016-17 season that saw them qualify for the League One play-offs and eventually return to the Championship.
Hutchinson, who joined from Fulham in 2016, played just 11 times this season in all competitions, with nine of those games coming in the league.
"On and off the pitch, Shaun has been a fantastic leader for many years and a great servant to Millwall," director of football Steve Gallen said.
"As we enter into our ninth consecutive Championship season, his goal against Bristol Rovers to secure the play-offs must always be remembered as one of the biggest in our history.
"We would all like to thank him for his outstanding contribution over the past nine years. Shaun will always be welcome at our football club."
Murray Wallace, Duncan Watmore and Aaron Connolly will also leave when their deals expire next month.
Left-back Wallace joined the club from Scunthorpe United in 2018 and made 226 appearances, scoring 13 goals.
Watmore arrived from Middlesbrough in 2023 and scored 13 times in 80 appearances.
Connolly signed in the most recent January window and played 14 games for Alex Neil's side.
Millwall say that talks over new deals continue with George Saville, George Honeyman, Danny McNamara, Liam Roberts and George Evans.
The Lions have exercised options to extend the deals of midfielder Billy Mitchell, as well as defenders Joe Bryan and Wes Harding.
Josh Coburn, Zak Sturge, Ryan Wintle and Calum Scanlon will all return to their parent clubs following the conclusion of their loans.

Midfielder George Saville and goalkeeper Liam Roberts are to leave Millwall at the end of the month after both failed to agree a new contracts with the club.
Saville made almost 250 appearances for the Lions across four spells and last rejoined the club in July 2021 from Middlesbrough.
The 32-year-old Northern Ireland international played in 45 out of 46 of the club's Championship matches in 2024-25, scoring one goal.
Saville said in a statement that the decision came "with a heavy heart".
He added: "I didn't think this day would come so soon but that's football and I'm looking forward to my next chapter. I'll be supporting you guys from a distance."
Saville first moved to the Den in 2013 aged 19 on loan from Chelsea and again on loan from Wolves in 2015, before making the move permanent two years later.
He transferred to Middlesbrough in 2018 for what was then a club-record fee, before returning to Millwall three summers ago.
"We offered George a new deal that reflected the role we saw for him moving forward, but in the end, we couldn't quite reach an agreement," said director of football Steve Gallan.
"We completely respect his decision and wish him nothing but success wherever he goes next."
Lions will target promotion push,.
Roberts, 30, who arrived at The Den on a free transfer from Middlesbrough a year ago, made six appearances for the club in all competitions, two of them in the Championship.
The last of those six games was Millwall's FA Cup fifth round defeat to Crystal Palace in March – during which the goalkeeper was red-carded for his infamous head-high challenge on Eagles forward Jean-Philippe Mateta.
Roberts, who apologised to Mateta after the Frenchman was hospitalised and received several stitches to his ear, became the target of what Millwall described as "abhorrent" online abuse in the wake of the incident.
His automatic three-match ban for the sending-off at Selhurst Park was also doubled.
Roberts, who spent four years as Walsall's first-choice keeper before moving on to Northampton, Barnsley and Boro, said: "I want to express my heartfelt thanks to the fans, my team-mates and all the staff.
"My family and I were shown incredible support during one of the most difficult times in our lives, and we'll never forget the kindness and care we received from everyone connected to the club. That will stay with us forever."

Millwall have signed New Zealand international goalkeeper Max Crocombe on a free transfer from Burton Albion.
The 31-year-old made 92 appearances in two seasons with the Brewers.
Crocombe becomes Millwall's first signing of the summer transfer window, with backup keeper Liam Roberts set to leave the club at the end of the month when his contract expires.
"The club speaks for itself really, the size of it," Crocombe said in a post on Millwall's X page, external.
"The journey to get here has been unbelievable. I've been given an unbelievable opportunity to represent Millwall Football Club, so really I can't wait to get going.
"Obviously the fanbase, how passionate they are, that was a huge pull. I can't wait to get out there and test myself."
Crocombe began his career at Oxford United before moving to Carlisle United in 2016.
Spells at Salford City, Brisbane Roar and Melbourne Victory followed before he joined Grimsby Town in 2021.
Crocombe made 89 appearances for the Mariners before moving to Burton in 2023.
He made his debut for the All Whites in 2018 and has been part of the squad that has qualified for the 2026 World Cup. He has 17 international caps.
Millwall have not stated the length of the contract.
