Same old story as we've seen in the last few games...

Much more competitive and hard to beat, but once again we suffer an elementary error from a player who should've been replaced in the summer...

I credit Sam for making us a stubborn side that is not longer the laughing stock we were under Bilic. I also credit him for finding Yokuslu who is a real gem, head and shoulders above the rest of the team. A fighter with real quality and calmness on the ball, someone who not only puts out fires but also plays progressive passes when others would just boot it into row Z. You need a few of them in the hurly-burly of the Premier League. I thoroughly expect him to go to a top side, because his impact on our side will not have gone unnoticed.

However, going forward the performance was completely abject and Sam has to take the blame for that...

I'm not sure why we keep persisting with Pereira and Phillips when we've got Snodgrass and Robinson on the bench...

As well as that, we're forcing lots of corners but have no threat with Ajayi sat on the bench. I understand why Sam has persisted with O'Shea and Bartley as defensively, we've been steady since Ajayi was sent off at Burnley. However for me he needs to start for his impact in the opposition's box. I'd honestly fit him in come what may for his running and aerial power alone. You could drop the lazy Pereira and play Maitland-Niles out wide and give Ajayi another shot in the centre midfield. Alternatively Sam could drop the woeful Furlong and put O'Shea back at right back.

I'd like to see a shake up, drop the lazy fat arse and give Grady or Robbo another chance...

I just hope they're planning for next season because it's going to be a hell of a rebuild. The only sad thing is that we'll not get chance to watch the one player who really cares - Okay Yokuslu - in a live game. After watching us split apart at will earlier in the season, I just enjoy seeing a player who really cares and simply wouldn't let Zaha past at any cost. Just wish we had a few more like him. If only we could have some rich owner take us over and buy him for the Championship. I guess there's more chance of a pig flying past.

Awful yet again. Yes, defensively we look decent but in another game billed as a must win, we show absolutely nothing up front. Seems our only offensive tactic is to try to get the ball into the box and hope something happens - no width, no pace, no creativity. Periera is wasted in an Allardyce team, he needs movement around and in front of him, which means players that are mobile and pacy, like Diangana, Edwards, Grant, Robinson....if only we had players like that. Instead we play Diagne and Phillips.

The only consolation is that we are 1 game closer to getting a manager in who might be able to play football.....that's if we can trust Dowling toidentify one.
They say that ignorance is bliss - no wonder so many people are happy.

Agree about Okay Yokuslu , it must be something to do with being a defensive midfielder who surname begins with 'Y'. Another player who I will miss will be Gallagher he reminds me a little of a young Brunty, full of passion and commitment plus he is skilful.

I couldn’t see the game so followed on BBC live reporting. One moment in the first half reported as “Mbiaye Diagne is offside”. There’s four words I never thought I’d see in the same sentence Big Grin

Brighton beat Southampton so the gap to safety is back to 10 points.

Nearly made up goal difference on the Blades, though.
Every little helps. Not.

Death by a thousand cuts! It's like watching your granny die god love her.
I gave up on this season a long time ago, I'll raise my head in August and prepared for another season in the real league!
Good night and god bless. Whistle
