It saves me time! I don't read those threads as I'm not taking part, so I manage to get some work done rather than spending half the day despairing over the Albion or over my dismal predicting skills.

I think that the numbers involved with the Prediction League at the moment may be a good indication of how many of us might be needing something, however trivial, to distract us from the doom and gloom that's going on, not only with our team, but the world around us.
