After last weeks high scoring affair, this week saw much lower scores except for one standout performance! Sanjay is in top spot continuing his good form and this week took his scoring to a new level with a PL season high 28 points!! He managed to get 3 CSs and really profited from two of these being the Gamball and Bonus (he was the only player to get positive points on the Gamball for good measure), he also backed that up with 4 CRs to end on a superb score. Snooty in second place was a whopping 17 points back on 11 points, scoring on half the games and being the only player this week to get the Scoreball extra point. His fellow Terrier Amelia was 3rd on 10 points, she got 2 CSs and continues to close in on the top 3.
4th place was shared by 3 players on 8 points - St Charles, Derby and Themaclad. SCO again was unable to convert any of his 5 CRs into CSs, as per usual, Derby on the other hand scored points on one less game than SCO but did manage to get one CS to keep pace with him. Themaclad is probably nursing a nose bleed being this far up the table after weeks of languishing near the bottom!! AAA took 7th spot with 7 points, not playing the Gamball worked for him this week but unfortunately he missed on the Bonus as well.
Twerton got 4 points to finish in 8th spot, like the rest of the bottom three his inability to get any CSs and only score on 3 games keep his score low. Our current PL leader BBB has his worst week so far with a poor 3 points, no CSs, didn't play the Gamball and missed on the Bonus, he had to have a bad one at some point, lets see if he can bounce back next week. Bottom of the pile this week is Bomber with just 2 points. He only managed to get points on 2 games, including his Bonus and form like this will see him drop down the table quickly if he is not careful!!
BBB still leads the table but now his lead is only 20 points, and now he is being chased by Sanjay who overtook St Charles this week to take 2nd place. Amelia stays 4th but pulled further ahead of AAA in 5th place. Bomber dropped a place to 6th and now has Lord Snooty right on his heels and Derby in 8th not too far behind. Themaclad and Twerton switched places again sending the latter back down to bottom spot.

After last week's points fest, it was back to more mundane scoring, not helped by 2 late postings. Not a good week for the gamblers amongst us with nobody predicting a Villa win (I went against one of my own rules of never to expect anything from those ba****ds). Correct scoreballs were also rare but bonuses proved more productive.
2 players achieved double figures, just, to share top place. Dingle Dingle was the only person to get 2 correct scores and is in the rare position of sitting top of the table despite losing points on the gamball. He was helped by a spot on bonus. Stairs took a more cautious route, declining the gamball but getting a week's high of 5 correct results none of which were correct scores.
Somerset and Joker share 3rd/4th place with 9 points. Somerset was another to get a maximum on his bonus while Joker posted too late for the gamball, probably saving him 3 points, and also decided to give his predictions a nice symmetrical look by not posting a score on the last match!
An average week for the two players at the top of the league. Zinman got 4 correct results but no scores, while Minizin was saved from a potentially negative by getting a maximum on his Sunday bonus. Silver matched Stairs' 5 correct results but failed with all his balls while Lady Jane still hasn't got her season going though she did at least get a scoreball point.
BaggieOne had a week to forget with just 2 correct predictions though will be grateful that one of them was his bonus. Beefy was late to his own party, only posting on the Sunday games. Like Joker, this probably saved him points!
A low scoring week means nobody really made a dramatic move in the overall table though there were a few positional changes in the crowded fight for the play off place. The Zins remain at the head of the table with Zinman extending his lead by a single point. The gap to 3rd remains though Beefy's late arrival means that both Stairs and Somerset climb a place above him. Joker and Silver swop places though remain very much in contention. The other positions are unchanged though Lady Jane is becoming stranded at the foot of the table with an increasing gap after DD's good week.
