Players training 1963 - who are they?

Any memories there, people?

Or any memories of fighting your way to watch your team in extreme conditions?

I think this could be [left to right] Peter Dinsdale, Kevin McHale and either Denis Atkins or Ray Wilson. Wasn't '63 the byear we drew Man U away in the cup - and we were still in the competition in March! Tells you what a bad winter it was. The Cup was so special then and it was only a couple of years before that we'd had that forever memorable and epic night against Wolves.

Before my time Wink

Never had any real problems getting to the games as I usually set off in plenty of time, getting home has sometimes been a problem.
Kings Cross to Cambridge by rattler, Cambridge to Peterborough by double decker bus, Peterborough to Doncaster on the East Coast, Doncaster to Wakey on the rattler....and then waiting for a taxi as many had given up for the night due to the weather and the time of night

P.s. I think that journey took 7hrs in total instead of less than 2:30
