The next two weeks - Foxman_WBA - 16-12-2014 Hello Baggies, wishing one and all a Merry Christmas ![]() The next two weeks (and a bit) are going to be massive for us, with 4 games in that period (yes 4!!!). Without a win last weekend this period would have seemed very daunting as with games coming thick and fast momentum and confidence is key. Our next 4 games over the xmas period are; 20/12 - QPR - A 26/12 - Man City - H 28/12 - Stoke - A 01/01 - West Ham – A So my question to you baggies, what would be an acceptable points hall from these 4 games? To me I think 5 points would be the minimum to expect but hopefully we could get 6/7. Lose this weekend and I think we may be in for a struggle. RE: The next two weeks - drewks - 16-12-2014 Season's Greetings to one & all from me too! ![]() ![]() Just a bit of a cliche but there ARE no easy games in this league ![]() I think 20/12 - QPR - A DRAW 26/12 - Man City - H LOSE (maybe draw though - seem to do pretty well v the Big Boys) 28/12 - Stoke - A DRAW 01/01 - West Ham – A DRAW Oh deary poo - no wins there, but 2 real form teams there out of 4. Would LOVE to get a win on Sat as this would really take the pressure off; saying that we have to see that we ARE much harder to beat these days albeit at the expense of attacking threat. Maybe this will stand us in good stead though as the games come thick & fast....as will our much deeper squad strength ![]() Don't think 3 points would be a disaster by any means but will hope for 4 or 5 please, Santa ![]() RE: The next two weeks - Luke_East_Baggie - 16-12-2014 I went with 4 that I would hope / expect. One win out of QPR / STOKE / WEST HAM, and a draw with another. Anything more than 4 and we have done okay in my eyes. 3 is barely okay I guess if they are all draws? RE: The next two weeks - talkSAFT - 16-12-2014 These are winnable games as far as I'm concerned (except maybe ManC). These are the sort of games we s/b targetting 3 points from, and I'm not getting worried about WHam's recent form. If we play for a draw at QPR I'll be more than annoyed. RE: The next two weeks - Stairs - 16-12-2014 My mate's a QPR fan and so this fixture has the added tension of a £10 stake. We bet home and away fixtures with home team having the draw. I took £20 off him last season and I have budgeted my Christmas based upon the same this year - we will win! As for the other 3 games - I don't see us getting points at either Man City or Stoke (bogey team plus they are playing better). But 3 points from West Ham is possible. Therefore, 4 points minimum but I'd like to think a positive coach could steal 6. RE: The next two weeks - tidy - 16-12-2014 Really difficult, this: 20/12 - QPR - A 26/12 - Man City - H 28/12 - Stoke - A 01/01 - West Ham – A 3 away games and a home game against City! FFS! Might get a draw at QPR (bear in mind Austin will be back) but, based purely on form, we should lose the other 3. We can all then get back to hounding AI... ![]() RE: The next two weeks - JH Baggie - 16-12-2014 QPR - A - draw CITY - H - loss STOKE - A - win W.HAM - A - loss RE: The next two weeks - betterthanbaird - 16-12-2014 I reckon we'll beat Stoke and lose the other three. |
