Valerien Ismael new Barnsley boss - Lord Snooty - 23-10-2020
My boss is a Barnsley fan and he said it would be an unknown German. Well...….

Struber left Oakwell earlier this month to take charge of Major League Soccer side New York Red Bulls.
Ismael made 13 appearances for Palace in 1998 during his playing career and has previously been head coach of Wolfsburg, Apollon Smyrnis and LASK.

Barnsley certainly like to pick surprise managers!! I get it though, if they pick the wrong guy they get relegated, not a massive problem for them, if they get the right guy though they could sneak a playoff place and who knows what else!! Its probably a risk worth taking in their position.
