Kick-off 15:00 UK Time
Saturday 17/10/2020

Liberty Stadium
Upstream from the River Estuary
Between Mumbles and Briton Ferry
A short hike from the train station.
Sat Nav - Doesn't matter - you aren't going to this one either.

The Liberty Stadium

Shared by the football team and the Ospreys rugby team (ground sharing with a bunch of egg chasers? Who'd have thought that would have caught on? ) the ground was planned by the City Council to replace the Vetch and St. Helens (ironically still there) as they weren't considered viable enough for the future. Despite rumours to the contrary, the stadium sponsors are not the manufacturer of certain ladies sanitary products but are a firm of local property developers ........ not much difference really if you ask me.

Latest news
Well subject to a final press release, [Image: music.png]You'll never get passed Kongolo[Image: music.png] is moving to Fulham and [Image: music.png]He's Electric[Image: music.png] is finally going to put his 5A fuse in the fuse box at the Hawthorns.
They had to drag that one out to the final day just to piss us off didn't they? As a result we've missed a potential deal to bring Chris Willock back as full time player (gone to QPR - well the bright lights of Covid locked down Larndan are maybe still brighter than those of locked down Yorkshire - but at least our scenery isn't all concrete and glass with a river flowing through the middle).

We may or may not bring someone in on the last day of the window - watch this space - Snoots will have all the latest Town Innies and Outies documented faster than you can say 'Mel Smooth has left the building'.

Last time out
We sneaked a late, late but deserved draw at Rovverum- our joint top scorer is now OG
[Image: XvohOaq.jpg]

They beat a lively looking Meeeewwwwaaaaaawwww 2-1.

Tables
Well they are 6 points and most of the table above us right now. That might change a bit, or might not change much at all by 5pm Saturday.

Innies and Outies
Last of the big spending taffs they are, isn't it?

Who's banging 'em in
They've got 5 leading scorers with as many goals as our leading 2.

Local music
If you want it, here it is, come and get it, but before you do, please all stand for the Welsh National Anthem

[Image: music.png]Wales! Wales!
Why do they build homes in Wales?
It rains, and it pours,
Then it floods in through your doors,
So Why Do They Build Homes in Wales????[Image: music.png]

Thank you, you can all sit down again now.

Badfinger who didn't get the credit they should have done for the song that Neilson made famous - Without You.
You might recall this one though if you're an old fart like me

Cerys Matthews
Some folk have voices that are truly great, some just grate. I'll let you decide.

She's probably done something more famous than this but I can't be arsed with going through all her YouTube vids to find it.

In need of a hero when she was Lost in France - Bonnie Tyler - boiling some eggs

[Image: music.png]It's a hard egg, nothing but a hard egg[Image: music.png]

There's plenty more but that's enough for now. Don't want you getting too excited, it's not good for you and you have to be home by 10:00pm or maybe sooner.

Pies and Pee's
Well if you want sit in the car park and you are allowed to travel and you are sure the Welsh won't lock you up and throw away the keys ......
I'm not copying and pasting all this - so go have a read and come back when you are done
Stadium Guide

I SAID COME BACK  Tongue

They can't all lose, or even win for that matter
[Image: EOzHlXK.jpg]

We've played 'em before
They have the recent upper hand but longer term we've got the edge.

Next up?
Derby at home - which version will turn up for both clubs?

Pressers

Radio Local are still sending Horrible Hannah round for the pressers - unfortunately she is clueless at putting this stuff on their website - so here's 30 mins of your life you won't get back as you try to work out what Careless Carlos is trying to say on the Town website. Either get a couple of beers or a bottle of vino collapso before you press play.

Nice one, theo. Thumb up

Can't see us getting owt from this really. They're much better now than when we played them in the Prem and they had their own Clueless Carlos in charge. We couldn't even beat them then.

Just gonna listen to ar Carlos in my lunch break. I'll catch up with yond Bonny lass later.

He's talking about Mbenza in a Ferrari in France. Took me a while to realise he was saying February, not Ferrari.  Laugh

Great thread theo Thumb up
This has all the hallmarks of a drab 2-0 win for the Swans, with Town having loads of possession and about 1 shot on target all game.
Not exactly excited about this game to be fair.

Just fixed a cock-up that nobody ripped into me for - well it was late by the time I finished last night.

I'd pick one of 'em to score and the other to play a bloody awful back pass that meant we came away with a draw in the last minute.

Hopefully they are both playing for Swansea. Laugh

That Badfinger song is a bit close to the truth for Town.

Would you walk away from a fool and his money? Rolleyes
