Match Day Pass - Amelia Chaffinch - 01-10-2020 When we buy an away pass for a tenner, does any of it go to the club? RE: Match Day Pass - theo_luddite - 02-10-2020 I read somewhere (either an email or link on the website) that most of the money goes back to the club, but not sure if that is just home passes or home and away. Either way the EFL distributes funds back to the clubs. RE: Match Day Pass - WakeyTerrier - 02-10-2020 The Colchester Utd chairman made a statement about this a couple of weeks back, basically its as follows. The home team(Rotherham Utd) They keep all the ifollow passes they sell They also get the first 500 ifollow passes that the away team sells The away team(us) We get the money from ifollow from 501 onwards https://www.cu-fc.com/news/2020/september/robbie-on-ifollow/ RE: Match Day Pass - theo_luddite - 02-10-2020 That's more detailed than in Town's email today but pretty much the same thing. "Net revenue from match passes is shared between the competing clubs." |
