Seals V Blades - Blue Baggie - 17-06-2020

I'm looking at a Blades win - they are hot for a European spot.

And they should be 1-0 up from a blatant own goal, but apparently the ref's goal-line watch didn't buzz until half-time, so Villa get let off the hook Doh

Well, that was worth waiting 100 days for Laugh I’m not sure which team was worse, both absolutely awful. To think they were promoted above us last season!

Well there’s luck and there’s the Vile. Would have counted for any other side the watch would have gone off.

i get the feeling the vile are going to flluke their way to safety

If they survive by a single point then there's going to be some very red faces. Maybe even legal challenges.

RE: Seals V Blades - wba13 - 18-06-2020

No to legal challenges, things like that have been going on for years . Cock up yes should not have happened . If it had happened to us I would have laughed .

RE: Seals V Blades - Ska'dForLife-WBA - 18-06-2020

I'm not condoning legal challenges by any means, but I don't see how it could be avoided with the money at stake, if that point goes on to relegate some other club.

RE: Seals V Blades - Salopbaggie - 19-06-2020

An interesting question, I am not sure how there could be a legal challenge, other than under contractual law? If there is I think you would then have to have a court sitting every week throughout the season just to hear challenges, as statistically a point lost to a dodgy decision is just as important in the first game, as the last.
