I really must retract my initial thoughts about the recent signing of Alfie May.
I mentioned that his track record before joining us of 10 goals in 91 games did little to inspire me.
Well his record so far for the Robins is 4 goals in 5 matches and the man is a bundle of pure energy.
Sadly although the first half saw Cheltenham well on top; the same can't be said of the second half.
Very scrappy, niggley and at times panicky.
Thank goodness for the woodwork which Morecambe hit twice. Although Alfie might have had a second when a thunderbolt hit their upright.
A game a bit like 'the Curates Egg'. Good in parts and awful in others.
Oh why can't we put a decent 90 minutes together???
