Totally Boring Football - pieandabovril - 29-11-2014 Has a West Brom Team ever bored you as much as this one? Even in the crap days when we were really bad,you still got the sense that the Players were actually trying! We are destined for the drop! We hardly ever create a chance let alone look remotely like scoring. There have been some bad decisions made at the Hawthorns in recent times, but in all honesty, the appointment of Irvine as the Head Coach was just ludicrous. We fought tooth and nail to get to the Premiership, and now we seem to be prepared to give it all up because we have a "Top Coach and a really nice Bloke" in charge. How can you continue to pick basically the same Team every week, and suddenly expect them to perform miracles on the pitch? Did anyone actually get excited when they saw the Team selection for today? or last week against Chelsea? or the home game against Newcastle? For goodness sake JP,Irvine just has to go! RE: Totally Boring Football - Beefy 1965 - 29-11-2014 You know what i would usually feel so low after a defeat, But until Muppet Irvine leaves the club Plus Downing & Kiely i'm not fussed and i should not feel like that. I want WBA FC to win full stop, But now i have a not so hidden agenda, The sooner Peace acts the better because even if we managed to stay up we are all going to be bored shitless by the end of the season, MOST DAMNING FACT OF ALL "Over 5 hours since Albion's last league goal. That was an OG. Exactly 6 hours since the last from a Baggies player. #wba" Chris Waddle nails it: "Yes West Brom want to pass the ball but they have nobody running forward apart from Saido Berahino. They are very easy to play against, they just keep passing the ball sideways or behind. You want them to go on and attack a player, take somebody on - that is what the fans want to see. They look scared." RE: Totally Boring Football - DanTheSmethwickMan - 29-11-2014 Said this during the game. Felt like going to sleep I was so bored. RE: Totally Boring Football - betterthanbaird - 29-11-2014 Our slow counter attacks aren't the best way forward. |
