All people say is Labour ruined the country in the 1970s and in 2008.
In 1973 there was an oil crisis which was global. Which meant the price of petrol rocketed making all transport more expensive. The then Conservative Government led by Ted Heath was struggling to cope with high food prices caused by global shortages which meant inflation went up. The Unions and the Miners went on strike because they wanted higher wages to be in line with the high inflation rate. In 1978-79 which was called the 'Winter of Discontent' the public sector and trade unions demanded larger pay rises and the strikes were due to Labour and Jim Callaghan trying to control inflation by imposing rules on the unions and public sector by saying pay rises must be kept below 5% to control inflation.
In 2008 there was a global financial crisis which was caused by the bankers and Labour bailed out the banks using taxpayers money so they wouldn't go to the wall and people wouldn't lose their money and the Tories who were in opposition at the time backed this but the media and the Tories in 2010 peddled the myth that it was Labour who caused the global financial crisis and people believed it and they still do.

I'm just reading part of that "leaked" British govt doc that Corbyn produced and the material re Scotland (+NI) and the detrimental impact of Brexit is absolutely damning . The document is authentic and the Tory govt trying to "shut down" the source of this utter embarrassment and deception to the Scottish public and the Scottish govt although the SNP already has a separate independent study/doc that corroborates a lotta stuff in this doc. However, it is the fact that our "equal partner(NOT!)" in this fractured Union did not confirm a similar conclusion as a warning to the Scot gov. Of course, that would be detrimental to their extreme Brexit objectives eh!! IMO the Tories have CROSSED ONE HUGE RED LINE ON THIS ISSUE AND THIS WHOLE FIASCO SHOULD BE LEAFLETTED TO EVERY SCOTTISH HOUSEHOLD THAT WE "WE REALLY WIPE THEM OUT UP HERE"!! ALL SCOTS TAKE NOTE - THE DAI IS CAST!!!!!

I read about a last minute appeal to voters by opposition leaders in England to seriously consider tactical voting and try not to waste a vote in this outlandish FPTP system of voting that is hardly used anywhere else in Europe. However, if that majority is the case then I'll just concur with Nicola Sturgeon that "Boris Johnson is a chancer and a charlatan, the like of whom should not be occupying the highest office in the UK". On Thursday, we have a chance to stop him. In Scotland that means voting SNP and "closing ranks" on what looks like an inevitable majority fascist Tory government that will no doubt attack us in some way, be it economically or re the Scotindy issue which will most certainly "come to the fore" because the majority of our population absolutely despise Johnson, his fascist Tory chums and his poisonous little conniving ultra right weasel, Cummings, who I reckon is one of the most hated characters in the UK. That is why the little devious bastard has deliberately "dropped under the radar" until they win this Gen Election and ruin the Xmas season for millions n millions of alarmed people up n down the country - UNPRECEDENTED IN MY LIFE TIME!
