Huddersfield Town Personality of the Year 2014 - Amelia Chaffinch - 27-11-2014 The Examiner is running a vote for the Huddersfield Town Sports Personality of the Year. So who would you vote for? It's early days but I have gone for Powell. I was tempted by Lillis for halting the dire run and also by Scannell. However the change in Scannell is down to Powell. He gets my vote but I reserve the right to change my mind if it goes belly up! RE: Huddersfield Town Personality of the Year 2014 - MNTerrier - 27-11-2014 Ann Hough been loyal to the club through good times and bad and probably does a whole bunch of stuff to make things work that none of us know about or truly appreciate RE: Huddersfield Town Personality of the Year 2014 - Amelia Chaffinch - 27-11-2014 She came to support us when we were doing the skydive. ![]() RE: Huddersfield Town Personality of the Year 2014 - Lord Snooty - 27-11-2014 I voted for Bluebeard solely on the personality bit in the title. He was our player of the year and made a pot load of cash for the Foundation with the beard thing. RE: Huddersfield Town Personality of the Year 2014 - SHEP_HTAFC - 27-11-2014 I went for Clayton as well....same reasons as Lord Snoots has already stated. And for the fact we made money on him and got a potentially better replacement in Butterfield. RE: Huddersfield Town Personality of the Year 2014 - WakeyTerrier - 03-12-2014 In all honesty it's a tough decision, 2014 has been a poor year for HTAFC. On the pitch we've taken just 43points from 42 league games this calendar year, that's relegation form so on that basis I rule out the players and management new and old. Off the pitch, the board have fared little better and have started to raise the eyebrows of our support. Yes Deans put millions in but then he blames the crowd for Robins departure despite the fact he wasn't at the game. Clibbens turns out to be Mr Angry when the going gets tough via twitter and it's noticeable these days how much quieter his account is(or maybe he's blocked me). Any problems in the ground and the board(Hough & Clibbens) deny responsibility and lay blame with Safety committee. I know one set of box holders who are still waiting for the club to reply to a email about a incident where 10 stewards tried to throw them out during the second half for drinking inside the box. So on the above basis I'm ruling Clibbens,Hough and Hoyle out. So that only leaves me with Sean Jarvis and the back room staff (reserves/academy coaches) plus the younger players. So it's my vote that goes to our U18s academy team that had a great season and knocked out WBA and Man Utd out of the FA Youth Cup...team award not individual RE: Huddersfield Town Personality of the Year 2014 - Marco4 - 04-12-2014 I went with Mark Lillis; he had an invigorating effect for the short while he was in charge and has done great things with the academy, which is one of the things I'm consistently pleased about. |
