VAR and the rule of "hand ball"!!? - 0762 - 18-08-2019

Did anybody watch that last secs winning goal by City v Spurs that was eventually disallowed by this controversial rule of any hand ball, deliberate or otherwise, that was exposed during the women's World Cup in France??? It was a ridiculous decision and it is gonna ruin footie as a true spectacle and source of entertainment! I suspect that this rule will be "kicked into touch" sooner rather than later as a matter of course!! Referees should be allowed to judge whether the old rule of hand ball applies or not and not this ill thought out garbage!

Ain't no way can that decision be given with the naked eye. The ball has just brushed his arm. It wasn't deliberate. This is a stupid rule and has to go. It's only been brought in to ease up the decision making for VAR. Ridiculous! Angry
