[b]LAST MATCH/NEW SEASON
Our final pre-season friendly saw us host Espanyol. Most of the first team squad got a run out and on another day we would have won. Still need a proper LB, CM & a winger imo. Onto the coming season, not quite sure how we will get on, if we got someone like Hughton and then several more players, I'd give us a fair chance to at least get into the playoffs. Got rid of some of the deadwood in the summer, but there are still several who shouldn't be here. Before SB left, he did manage to get 3 players in and they have looked pretty decent, albeit pre season. Bullen has hinted at the possibility of 1 or 2 in-comings before the window closes, hopefully 1 or 2 outgoings too.
THE MATCH
On our travels for the first game of the season, (3rd season in a row) as we travel down to Reading. Reading struggled last year but did manage to stay in the division. They made a decent signing in Charlie Adam in the summer and also signed Michael Morrison who played for us but was utter crap as I recall. Can only see a bottom half finish for the Royals. Jose Gomes is the man in charge, who took over in December last year, seems like Carlos MK2 with 10 clubs in 14 years. We won this fixture 2-1 last season so a repeat would do very nicely indeed.

Well we know Iorfa is banned, so everybody else should be available baring any knocks picked up. All the new boys should start imo though I think Bullen might keep Harris on the bench. Think he might go 433 like we did against Espanyol

Well there first game on saturday has been postponed. They have to satisfy the efl that they have financial viability, until then they wont be playing any games.
