Killie v Hibs, Sat 11 May, KO 3.00pm - 0762 - 08-05-2019 In Hibs penultimate match of the season, the boys travel to Rugby Park with not much to play for, apart from fulfilling a league fixture, while Killie are still chasing Aberdeen's 3rd top spot but how seriously?? I think Hecky's prime objective is to try out some of our youngsters and also fringe players who he needs to gauge whether they stay or move on. It is a match on an artificial surface again. Therefore I expect to lose this game but a draw could well be possible depending on the way it "pans out". GGTTH RE: Killie v Hibs, Sat 11 May, KO 3.00pm - hibeejim21 - 09-05-2019 It's all about next season now. RE: Killie v Hibs, Sat 11 May, KO 3.00pm - 0762 - 11-05-2019 FT 1-0 and another Andrew Dallas master class in bad decision making when penalising Gray for a pk that was never a pen against Hibs!!! And slammed on bbc radio for such a crucial decision could affect Aberdeen's 3rd spot in the Premiership. RE: Killie v Hibs, Sat 11 May, KO 3.00pm - 1Wattie - 12-05-2019 If this decision does affect ( I hope it does ) Aberdeen's 3rd spot it might force the SPFL/SFA to act on the amount of wrong calls being made. We could realistically see Hearts winning the Scottish cup and taking a European spot away from Aberdeen. It's got to happen sooner or later that a bad call will cost a club thousands of pounds. RE: Killie v Hibs, Sat 11 May, KO 3.00pm - 0762 - 12-05-2019 And coincidentally Golum, two days earlier, recommending VAR to be introduced to Scottish footie and no f###### wonder! It is becoming embarrassing and on a day when another ref, Clancy (and his uncommitted Hun AR) does not issue a straight red card to a Rangers player, Flanagan, at Ibronx for elbowing Broony in the face as well as no yellow cards to Defoe for blatant simulation! Game changing stuff and yet Scot refs have been serial offenders at Ibronx throughout this season! Game changing stuff and yet Scot refs have been serial offenders at Ibronx throughout this season! VAR hits the EPL next season, I assume its not going to be used in Scotland but is there any move to introduce it at all? RE: Killie v Hibs, Sat 11 May, KO 3.00pm - 0762 - 12-05-2019 At the moment all they are doing is debating the possibility SCO. I doubt that anything will happen TBF as it would not tie in with the "agenda" of a Hun SFA that is regarded by many as "rotten to the core" and can't even handle the appointment of a new Scotland manager. The fact that they are skint could be one of the main reasons! RE: Killie v Hibs, Sat 11 May, KO 3.00pm - hibeejim21 - 12-05-2019 More scandalous refereeing, probably thrown to Clarke as he has been raging publicly about the officials for a while now. Joke of a decision. Again today sevco got away with decisions no other team in Scotland would have, the elbow from Flanagan was outrageous. VAR would be all well and good in Scotland if it happened (which would be doubtful) but even so the same bent officials would be reviewing the evidence. RE: Killie v Hibs, Sat 11 May, KO 3.00pm - 0762 - 13-05-2019 Listen to Alex Bruce's brazen explanation on bbc Sportscene of that outrageous pk due to his simulation. This is a classic example of a "cheat" who can't even admit that he "got away with one" and precisely why retrospective action is applied these days!! I'm expecting a 2 match ban but I wonder if the SFA ref scrutity officer will actually offer it!? RE: Killie v Hibs, Sat 11 May, KO 3.00pm - 1Wattie - 14-05-2019 If VAR is ever introduced to the Scotland game it will force all of the closet old firm supporting referees to either come clean or resign. The big excuse of it being too expensive is pretty feeble when you consider the amount being spent sending officials all over the world on freebies, if there is a will on VAR they'll find a way to make it happen. |
