Andy Hessenthaler is preparing for next season and already has decided on his release list:-
Kadell Daniel, David Smith, Mitch Walker, Stuart Lewis, Connor Essam, Jack Connors, Tobi Sho-Silva, Nortei Nortey, Tim Schmoll, Moussa Diarra and Emmanuel Adebowale. The most interesting has to be Nortei Nortey who didn't have such a good season this time round and struggled to keep his place, but last season when Dover were flying high he was a regular scorer from midfield.
The following players are out of contract but have been offered deals:-
Mitch Brundle, Bobby-Joe Taylor, Anthony Jeffrey, Joe Bedford and Bedsente Gomis. Far the most interesting is Mitch Brundle who is a pivotal defensive midfielder who can also slot into defence when needed. He was a Bristol Rovers product but he did spend time with Gateshead, so he might be prepared to move north. Chesterfield or almost anyone else, could offer a better contract than cash-poor Dover ....... he was their captain ....... he's only just in his mid-twenties ......... If I were manager of a team wanting to make a promotion bid I'd be on the phone to him yesterday.
