Hibs v Killie, Wed 3 April, KO 7.45pm - 0762 - 31-03-2019 Well this is a home game that I'm hoping Hibs take advantage of esp after their long, unbeaten run of matches in which they look like they are gathering momentum to challenge some of the higher top six teams. Heckingbottom unbeaten in league matches and no glitches please - lets keep going and see where it takes us eh!! GGTTH RE: Hibs v Killie, Wed 3 April, KO 7.45pm - 0762 - 04-04-2019 http://www.hibernianfc.co.uk/news/9844 A 0-0 stalemate and all one can say is that Kilie were well organised with a defence that was as "tight as a drum" and Hibs really kept their shape when Killie tried to take control of the match in the second half - again Paul Heckingbottom tactically astute with Hibs players doing precisely what is being asked of them and the manager still unbeaten in Premiership matches. I thought Mulumbu was fortunate to remain on the pitch with just one yellow card but I don't think the impasse would've been broken if the Killie midfielder had "walked" - it was that kinda match and a good point earned by Hibs v a good Killie team. Lastly there is an interesting stat that Killie have amazingly not lost a Wednesday night match since April(?) 2015!! RE: Hibs v Killie, Wed 3 April, KO 7.45pm - hibeejim21 - 05-04-2019 Interesting game - I think if our passing was a bit crisper we could have won the game. Omeonga was really good I thought. Take your point about mulumbu, but I have to say I think he is a cracking player. Can't believe he isn't involved at celtic at all. RE: Hibs v Killie, Wed 3 April, KO 7.45pm - 0762 - 05-04-2019 I actually wouldn't mind taking Power from Killie but I can see the possibility of Lenny eventually moving on Mulumbu to Hibs. |
