Welcome back you are coming home - themaclad - 31-03-2019

Saw the tweets last night yep you've had two years with the big boys but the Championship is were the real football is. Not remotely bothered about watching top division football although have some grounds to get in but more fun in the league below real fans at proper prices except when you go to Leeds and Wednesday/
.
Welcome back

Thanks, good to be back.

As someone said yesterday. It's nice to go there for a holiday, but wouldn't want to live there.

Anyway, isn't it time Preston had a go? You've been out of the big longer than we had been.

No way as bad as Derby! Certainly it`s not been a stellar year but didn't think you were that bad
Two very welcome seasons at the top without spending silly money on mercenaries and phone it in veterans a real breath of fresh air
So many sides go down and implode I think you've been more clever and have longer term plans financially and on the playing side
Championship has been superb this year, cracking league, dont think you`ll drop out of the top six next season

Thankfully Spurs are moving into the new ground and so that will complete my list of Premiership Grounds.

Things I'll miss about the Premier League

The £30 price cap on away tickets, this is something that should be introduced at lower levels of football and especially the championship
The TV money that makes the world go by
The TV coverage and availability of streams the world over.

Things I won't miss about the Premier League

Everything else

I've still never been to Spurs, West Ham or Crystal Palace. And I don't intend to. If I never see London again, that's fine by me. That includes that shit hole Wembley.

RE: Welcome back you are coming home - Amelia Chaffinch - 01-04-2019

I don't think Wembley is a shithole but what you go through to get to it is. Plus I hate going to London.

Yes, Wakey, the TV money is good but the inconvenience of matches being moved is a bummer.

RE: Welcome back you are coming home - WakeyTerrier - 01-04-2019

Yes Tv games being moved is a bummer and I was going to say that but its the same in the Championship
Friday night games, Saturday tea time game and the odd Sunday lunch time kick off here and there.

One bonus of the championship is that all midweek games are covered live on sky via the red button

M'Lord, You're not missing out on anything..West Ham is soulless and Palarse is a shit hole
