THE MATCH

SATURDAY 30TH MARCH 3:00PM KICK OFF

Another 3 points as we beat a decent Blackburn side who looked good going forward at times but who lacked a bit at the back. Fletcher got us off to the perfect start netting from close range, Hector hit the post , Reach had a shot blocked & Winnall was inches away from a Aarons cross. We let Blackburn into the game after that but Westwood only had 1 shot to save. The 2nd half started evenly before Nuhiu headed in Bannan's free kick. Rovers puled one back due to some poor defending although it was finished well. Iorfa restored our 2 goal lead stabbing home after a free kick. Matias then made it 4 although the keeper made a hash of it. Rovers scored again a minute later but we manage to see the game through.

THE MATCH

Next up a trip to Stoke. This will be our 1st league visit to Stoke in 12 years, (we played them in the cup 4 years ago and lost 2-0) our last two league visits we have won (4-2 & 2-1). Stoke have struggled this season, but are unbeaten in 7, however they have won only 1 of those and of those 6 draws, four have been 0-0 (and some people think we are boring!!). They have some recognizable players in Butland, Shawcross, Baath, McClean, Allen, Ince, Vokes & Afobe, so should be doing far better than 16th in the league.

Agreed with the team owlskev i doubt he will risk either Hooper or Fessi and with Nuhui on the bench i doubt he will pick all 3 to sit there aswell Huh

my biggest worry is if hutch doesnt play as he cant seriously even pick minge for the under 23s Doh

hes effing useless and i think rather have hector play there and give Throniley a start at center back Thumb up

question wtf happened to baker ? has he shagged bruces daughter ?

and as i wrote that out im seeing Flecther is fucked which means that he will probably start Nuhui upfront with winnall ! meaning both Fessi and Hooper will sit on the bench i reckon Thumb up

So maybe in a few weeks time Bruce is back in the carlos dilema !! 15,000 strikers and who does he pick ?

I think we can see without a doubt when fit he will play flecther who is also looking for and extension on his contract i should imagine this summer and with no fee to pay i reckon he will win that exention Only time will tell if its going to be worth it or not ? but as far as business is concerned wether in this league or the Prem he ticks the boxes.

Hooper on the other hand ? even if he plays the next 8 games and scores 5 goals is a big risk ! while we know hess the best out of all 5 strikers hes been injury prone but hes free and wages is all we need to pay and again like fletcher good enough for the premier aswell !

Fessi can we make money on him ? if so we shouldnt think twice about selling him ! if not he stays untill his contract runs out somewhere near the new year of 2020 !

Joao without a doubt should be given an extension on his contract through age alone hes worth the punt !

Nuhui im sorry to say needs to be shown the door with Rhodes as first of all weve too many strikers and second hes to 50/50 and has been since the day he joined us !

and for me winnall is the first player on the team sheet as far as strikers go ...he has the technical ability of rhodes ! but he scores goals and works hard for the team but hes got to convince bruce this over the next 8 games ?

Lets hope Bruce keeps getting the points, I see this game more of a score draw.
I see this as a "Desmond" 2 a piece. Although Stoke appear to be the 0 - 0 specialists of late.

Don’t know how many of you watched the official site You Tube of training today but both Lee an Hooper were there with the latter looking a lot slimmer than I’ve seen him before. Also FF was joking around with Bruce and now his court case is done he might be in the mood for a few goals this weekend.
