grant holt and wigan new manager - town in essex - 19-11-2014
grant holt had been part of the catylist thats got town going,surely when
a new manager is appointed at wigan they will want to have a look at him,
not sure if he can be recalled before his loan spell finishes but hope CP has been looking around
and not waiting for Vaughn to get fit !

Anybody with half a brain would want him back. I think we have definitely got him till the end of the year though.
Wigan have got such a strong squad it beggars belief how low they are. We said that about Wolves though when they went down.

We have Holt until 28/12 (Bolton game) with no recall clause. After that, we have no rights whatsoever. If they want him back then that's it. Or if they want to sell him or loan him to someone else in January.

I doubt malky will want to give him a shot. He's halfway gone already and I suspect he'll want his own players. If holt was 26 then maybe he'd take him back but he's not. he'd be a short-term fix for them. Whelan will want a change of approach.

I've got hundreds of friends who are racist football chairmen, so how can you call me a balanced member of society?
(I'm finding the Bill Cosby allegations harder to take than Whelan's ill advised ramblings that reveal him to be ignorant in a lot of ways, to be honest. Cosby has long been my favourite standup - I've got about ten of his albums - but if he's done even half of what he's been accused of its horrifying stuff and any respect for him will be a thing entirely of the past)

I've been beginning to get that feeling, MNT but having been out of the loop almost completely (in the West Country, phone signal can be very difficult to get and I can't trust Twitter) so I wanted to do a bit more reading on my return.
Sad, horrifying stuff. Such a difference from his public persona.
