Prediction League Results/Tables Week 23 - bomberbrown1968 - 03-02-2019 The world has turned upside down - well at least it has for this weeks leading predictor!! Lord Snooty has been rooted to the bottom of the table for many weeks now but this week he sees himself sitting top to the results table on 15 points!!! He managed to pick up points on 6 of the 10 games, winning points on the Gamball and BB in the process!! Could this be the Great Escape of all Great Escapes?? Level with him on 15 was Zinman, who is proving to be very consistent as he tries to chase down the top spot. Of course he bottled the Gamball and of course got it wrong as well but he picked up a spot on BB!! The current league leader BBB came in third this week on 14 points. He picked up points on 7 games but crucially changed his Gamball at the last minute, costing him a valuable 3 points. In fourth place was SCO on 11 points to round out the leagues top 3 players sitting in the top 4 in this weeks scores, consistency seems to be the key!! In 5th place is Beefy on 10 points, he seems to have found some midtable consistency as well but his lack of courage on the Gamball ended up costing him 2 points in the end!! After a two week absence Matt is back this week although the damage in the league may well have already been done for the long time leader although the 8 points he got will likely see him move up a place or two. The next three Derby on 7 points, Sanjay on 4 and Amelia on 3 seems to be in their own mini league fighting it out for the final relegation spot and the play off spot, although Amelia is still someway adrift of getting to that PO game and now has Snooty creeping up on her but then knowing them that might not be anything new for her!!!!!! ![]() Cheers SCO BBB's lead at the top was cut down by another point this week and now stands at just 4 points to Zinman in 2nd as the top 4 all returned decent scores in what looks like being a tussle right to the end of the season. SCO is still right there and sits only a further 5 points back in 3rd, while Beefy climbs another place and finds hi,self sitting in the heady heights of 4th after another double figure score this week to pass the 200 point mark for the season. Worldclass slips a position to 5th due to a no show this week which also cost him some of the momentum he'd been gaining in his quest to get involved in the title race, as we welcomed Matt back into the fold, and saw him climb a place up into 6th, sitting just 3 shy of hitting the 200 himself. Derby maintained 7th and is only a solitary point back, while also just the same solitary point ahead of Sanjay who slipped into 8th and the relegation play-off spot this week. It's worth mentioning only 29 points separate top spot and 8th at a relatively late stage of the season. It's looking bleak down at the bottom for Amelia who suffered a lowly return this week losing ground on those above her, though in contrast Snooty enjoyed a good week but such is the gap that had emerged over the last few weeks, it's going to take a lot more consistent heavy scoring to give himself even the slightest chance of survival. Bomber Welcome guys nice consistant scoring at the top this week Zinman has all the up to date details of weekly goings on so I will be brief and just give it you as I see it from this Week .... Joker Yes Joker has had another good week that's 2 in 3 Wow ... Apart from his Gamball the rest of his Balls we used wisely and with a couple of correct scores thrown in he totalled 17 points and top spot ![]() Close behind were Quantum and Twerton who both had good weeks and couldn't be separated in runners up spot with 14 Points. Maclad started of like a train, faded in the middle and finished strongly and came 4th with a very respectable 13 Points. Then there was a bit of a gap to 5th where we find Stairs with a 9 point return, also with 9 points in 6th place we had 4Eva who I think we can safely say destroyed any slim hope that Albion had of winning with yet another Gamball disaster yet this was one was even worse, after predicting a Boro win a few hours later he changed his mid and decided to go for Albion, the rest they say is history for 4Eva it meant that instead of scoring 4 Points it ended up -3 a swing of just the 7 points ![]() Yes 4Eva you would have been 2nd you keyboard warrior you ![]() Baggie One finished off those who could be bothered to score a decent return but just the 6 Points meant he found himself down in 7th. Now Bomber after last weeks debacle of a maximum -5 things at least couldn't have got any worse, thing is they didn't get much better either ![]() By totally getting his balls in a twist again and just guessing 3 correct results he managed to scrape a point ....... Yes a whole point yet still managed to finish bottom. A return of -4 in the last two weeks has seen Bomber falling down the table Quicker than Zinman on one of his Orgy and Booze nights ![]() Good luck next Week when once again you will have the pleasure of me ........ OK ![]() Beefy The top 2 are looking to make the break away from the pack as they are both in the habit of posting consistent scores week in week out, Themaclad still leads the way as he has for 99% of the season and shows no sign of giving it up as he leads Quantum by 16 points in 2nd who is another to continually post decent scores more often than not. We have to go 23 points back to find Twerton in 3rd, his fine week lifting him a place and putting him past the 200 mark for the season, while Bomber, slipping to 4th seems to be in the middle of a nightmare run adding just a point to his tally after last weeks complete blank. 4eva, just a solitary point further back, climbed a place into a share of 5th, thanks to the miracle that was - a successful Bonus Ball -, while BaggieOne is the other to share this position, and both will still be looking to have a stab at promotion even if it has to be through the play-offs. Stairs could do with 2 or 3 decent weeks to give himself an outside chance of shooting up the league, but is no forlorn hope, while Joker seems to be getting the knack of this all too late as he took his tally to 40 points in the last 3 weeks half as many again as he'd scored in the first 20. Bomber PS. this is what I have to put up with when I receive the scores............ .................................. CS ....................... CR ............................
