It is noticeable that other National Clubs continue to make signings to improve their teams. The nearest we are getting is loans and releases even to our rivals. Solihull have grabbed Nathan Blissett from Macclesfield (to strengthen their promotion challenge!) and Salford muscled in to give Lincoln's Green an attractively long contract to boost an attack, which until we kept a clean sheet, had not looked in need of a boost.
There are players available who would not require any huge investment to come and boost our relegation battle and build for next season .......... if Mr Bean (or anyone else) can exercise any influence. Our playing resources do look pretty threadbare don't they, unless perhaps an Ofoegbu can stride into the limelight?
