Kevin Austin sadly passed away yesterday after losing his battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 45.

A whole-hearted player who I hope did not always suffer the torrent of abuse from John Sheridan I witnessed the couple of games I saw him live for us.

That was some centre back pairing, Austin and Page yeeeuughh.
Really sad to hear though, wouldn't wish that on anybody.

We used to think two former internationals at centre back was a bit dodgy.
