IMO this is a "must win" match v opponents who have suddenly found some positive form after losing to Celtic in the Betfred Cup. We are disappointingly and unfairly without Flo Kamberi. So Lenny must adjust the team to compensate for that loss. I think this is a potential "banana skin" and hope the manager issues the warning re the threat of complacency. We have a better team than "The Saints" but the guys must play and earn the win! I'd opt for Ollie Shaw playing alongside Andy McLaren and move Boyly to where he is most effective - on the right wing! Also our defence is looking more solid and that standard of defending must be demanded by Neil but I'd swap Whittaker for David Gray - unconvinced re Steven W these days! I'm expecting big Marv to give way to a more creative and forward thinking mid line up. Lenny definitely has the players to "do damage" to this Saints' defence. Lets do it Hibs and get "back on track" before we give Rangers a visit.

A bit flat the day i thought, possibly understandable after midweek but saint johnstone always seem to cause us bother. Whittaker had a bit of a mare, hyndman hasn't ever really convinced and mclaren never really got into it. Only big marv seemed really up for it.
Disappointing as a win today would have got us into a good spot in the league. Still its our first home defeat since 2017, hopefully better to come next week at the sheep pen.

I saw this result coming TBH! There was a lotta non footie "distraction" leading up to this match and that concerned me greatly!!! Also some of Lenny's team choices definitely questionable! I would never have played Whittaker in this match as he is not good enough! Hyndman would've been another omission! Now we are playing "catch up" to try and chase a top three place but I suspect we're gonna be battling for a mid league position alongside the likes of Saint Johnstone who are just an average mid to lower league footie team (one of 3 or 4 teams "in the same boat"). IMO we could've easily picked up 6 pts in these last two fixtures and we've only registered 1pt!!!! Celtic's demolition of Hearts "tells a story" re attacking this kinda punchless team and absolutely overpowering them in a game that could have seen a record score line and yet it was still a 5-0 thrashing! We couldn't get near that level of hi press!!!
IMO lotsa work for Lenny to do and I think he must start trying out some of the new guys - just play around with Hibs formation and see where it takes us. I also think that Lenny should set Rangers as the current "target". They are currently crap but they are now ahead of us by 3 pts! This is something for the players to focus on as well as winning matches.
