Ebbsfleet are facing a cash crisis and are expecting a wave of offers for their players.
Last season when Dagenham and Redbridge faced a liquidity crisis they were selling their best players ridiculously cheap. Morgan Ferrier, now Walsall's centre forward, went to Boreham Wood for £30,000 and helped them into the play offs.
Taking into account that EFL clubs won't be able to make a move until January, this might be an opportunity for us IF we have any cash left in the coffers to go with the small beer from our one-match cup run.
Certainly Ebou Adams is a proper young winger, and as last season he was at Norwich, he isn't tied to the south east. Corey Whitely is a good attacking midfielder, but he only ever seems to play down south. Michael Cheek has goals in him and they've barely played him ............
This is a tough league. It is dog eat dog and it is quite often survival of the quickest.
