After spending the international break perched comfortably in second place, Albion return to action with a couple of potentially tricky fixtures. Promoted Wigan have made a decent return to the Championship so far, and though ordinarily we'd have to look for three points on an away trip like this to keep us in contention for automatic promotion, our wobbly form on the road means that a point would probably be acceptable.

Derby remain the perennially strong also-rans of the division, but they've sunk down the table of late with only one win from the last six games, and though they'll be a tough opponent, we have to back ourselves with our imperious home form to come out on top.

7.30 kick off  Thumb up those were the days nights, when did they stop? games used to finish around ten past 9 with 10 minutes half time and 1 sub, now it's nearer 10 with an 8 o'clock kick off, I was always back for Harry Carpenter and Sportsnight back then  Rolleyes

Lot of talk about Sako making his debut today - not even on the bench.

Whistle

RE: WBA vs Wigan & Derby - Beefy 1965 - 20-10-2018

This is ridiculous results not going to last forever playing thus system away and flipping Brunt and Livermore in the middle,
As Bm said Sako impressed apparently in trying this week yet HRK is still on the bench
Baffled!!

Started off looking okay on stats, now looking like we have lost any upper hand and go in at half-time on the back foot. Need a quick start to the second half ....

RE: WBA vs Wigan & Derby - talkSAFT - 20-10-2018

Half-time Summary from Tom Leach, Express & Star:

"I think if I was a Latics fan I would definitely claim that Wigan are 'absolutely all over them'. Albion are very fortunate to be level at the break. Actually, that's an understatement."

RE: WBA vs Wigan & Derby - 4evaabaggie - 20-10-2018

We can not keep riding our luck, we will eventually meet a team that puts their dominance into goals ...... to many games where we still only play one half.

Come on you Baggies.
