Wagbo's best buddy rolls into Town on Saturday evening, a kick off moved yet again by The Cartoon Network so they can show it at Prime Kids TV Time. Dr. Who says she is not amused as she was hoping to watch the match after fixing the Tardis TV sets with her magic screwdriver, however the programming clash would cause one of them there time warp thingummyjiggers. That would create more buggeration, trouble and strife than Doc and Marty Mcfly ever caused with that damned DeLorean. How folk would cope with that in Hoodezfield isn't yet known.

So what gives after the International Break?

Mo Salad has sprung one of his onions playing for Egypt apparently. I doubt it will be a season ender but could add a dash of salt and pepper to the match if he turns out not to be available.

Long prong Phil the Bill came back early after scoring for Denmark U21's and breaking a toenail in doing so. This ripped his sock leading to a blister on his big toe. Aaron Mooy, after paying his bar bill off early at some Middle Eastern beach bar wherever it was the Crim's had gathered for a friendly, also decided training with Town in wet and windy West Yorkshire would be far more fun than getting a sun tan. Both are expected to play on Saturday.

The Pressers

The two German friends, who can't afford a Bic razor between them, gave their thoughts and updates on player injuries on Thursday afternoon. Klippety Klopp decided he wasn't going to talk about injuries saying he expects to pick from a full squad.



Whatever.  

He is however worried Jodie Whitaker might to use the Tardis to infuence the ref and go back in time to change the final result.


One time Hoodezfield resident Dr. Who, could make a surprise appearance on the wing for Town on Saturday. She's alraedy got her drinks bottle ready and her boots are polished and in the bag.

Smithy, Kongolo and Williams definitely out. Couple of others unlikely to play.

We've played 'em before

Last time we beat them, Liverpool were looking for a manager and Town had a certain Bill Shankley as Manager. After the game they give him a bung and 3 days later he'd resigned from Town and turned up on the banks of the Mersey. The rest as they say, became his story.


Innies

Liverpool spent around £154 million tinkering with their squad in the summer. Net result, unbeaten on 20 points from 8 games. Potentially a good bit of business.

Outies

They recouped some of that by selling former Town loanee keeper Danny Ward to Leicester to go and sit on their bench rather than the Scousers 2nd 11 bench.

Points would be nice, a home goal would be good, a decent performance rather than kicking for touch for 90 minutes would be pleasing on the eye.
