Something of a gamble but a new manager usually gets an upturn in results and you feel given the very good squad (Subasic, Falcao, Jovetic, Tielemans, Chadli, Golovin etc) he should be able to turn it round

Whether he`s learnt off his original mentor Jean Tigana at Monaco Jean Tigana and added all those years after to become a great manager we`ll have to wait and see

Romantic`s will remember that forward line with Henry and Viktor Ikpeba behind main striker Sonny Anderson with a young guy called David Trezeguet waiting in the wings
John Collins, Emmanuel Petit, Fabien Barthez, Ali Bernabia, Slyvian Legwinski, Gilles Grimandi, Phillipe Christnaval, among the excellent Tigana team although most did turn out for Fulham or Arsenal at one time(!)

Saying he's been sacked now. Sounds like the players didn't like him.

So this is now an ideal opportunity for one of these young English coaches that Sam Allardyce was on about, to make a name for himself in a foreign land.
