Very sad to hear the news of Jeff Farmer’s death today. Although Jeff served on the Albion Board for seven years, I think, during the last decade, for those of us longer in the tooth he will always be the main reporter for the Baggies in the local Birmingham press. I think he also did matchday programme notes for a time. In the days before instant access and continual social media quotes, he was always the trusted informant on the Baggies. If Jeff reported it, it was true! Many thanks Jeff for your contribution to how the Albion were positively reported and also for the many happy youthful hours I spent reading your reports.
