Lastly I must comment on an awful challenge on Broony by Partick's Storer - nasty and "over the top" and a straight record all day long! Yet this ref, Thomson, was standing about 6 metres off this incident and bizarrely issues a yellow card!? Also noticeable Broony waving Thomson away in utter contempt! I was led to believe that this moron of a referee had finally retired (and good riddance!) but not so!!! This is a classic example of a SFA ref's status requiring to be reviewed on competence but it won't - a travesty for the game as this kinda ref is a threat to the well-being of any player - a simple decision that was corrupted for whatever bizarre reason!? Also BT's Chris Sutton absolutely "slaughtering" Thomson in the live tv broadcast and rightly so - I've lost count of Sutton's scathing comments re this particular referee down the years - that "says it all"!!
