Former Rangers attacker Harry Forrester has joined Iranian side Tractor Sazi.
The Englishman left the Light Blues by mutual consent on Wednesday, paving the way for a switch to the Persian Gulf.
Forrester initially impressed after making his loan move to Ibrox permanent and helped Rangers achieve promotion to the Premiership.
But he soon found himself surplus to requirements at Ibrox and spent last season on loan at Wimbledon.
His contract was terminated with a year left to run as he was not in Steven Gerrard's plans.
The 27-year-old has immediately found a new club, though, and will join up with Tractor Sazi, who are managed by Welsh legend John Toshack.
