Greenock Morton are delighted to announce that Dundee defender Kerr Waddell has today signed a six-month loan deal with the club.
The 20-year-old centre-half is a product of the Dens Park youth academy and enjoyed a loan stint with Clyde prior to making his competitive debut in a Betfred Cup tie against Raith Rovers at the beginning of last term.
He went on to establish himself as a first-team regular with the Premiership outfit, making a total of 22 appearances as Dundee preserved their top-flight status, memorably scoring twice in a 2-1 win over Hearts.
Manager Ray McKinnon has today moved to bolster his backline by bringing Waddell to the Ton on a temporary transfer that runs until 16 January 2019
