Kicked out an 18 year-old 6'4" centre back to sign Michael Nelson. Ditched Whitmore too! Can't be a good sign.
Everything you can say in favour of Nelson would also apply to Ian Evatt. Except that Evatt is three years younger and throughout his entire career has been a better player than Michael Nelson.
Now if we were signing Danny Whitaker that would be a different matter.
