Ian Evatt, Sam Hird and Drew Talbot have all been released and won't be offered new contracts. Apparently there is more news tomorrow about retained players.
Drew Talbot was sent a text message to say he was released.

Its difficult to know whats fact and what isn't .I'm hearing it was a friend who text Drew with the news when said friend saw it on the website ,meaning the club had forgot or couldn't be arsed to tell Drew first !.
If that is true then its even worse than the club sending Drew a direct text message .At least if the latter happened it could be argued the club considered him !.
Shambles ,one after another .
So no players have been offered contracts ,that's 7 in total released .With the loan players gone back I guess it has released some money to spend but we are left with a load of shit under contract .The new man has a massive task on his hands to try and manoeuvre some deals to get rid of the dross that is left .
