Chesterfield/Chesterfield King - spireitematt - 08-03-2018 Chesterfield ran at Kempton on Monday and won. There is another horse called Chesterfield King which is running in the 2:25 at Leopardstown. Chesterfield's next race is at Cheltenham next Friday in the 2:10 Randox Health County Handicap Hurdle (Grade 3) (2m1f) RE: Chesterfield/Chesterfield King - Devongone - 09-03-2018 Chesterfield won on the flat at Kempton ............... My very bad advice would don't back him to win the County Hurdle. He might make the first four though, it is always a very open race. This is the nearest you'll get to local advice as I used to work opposite Cheltenham Racecourse before I came to Devon. RE: Chesterfield/Chesterfield King - spireitematt - 09-03-2018 Chesterfield King came 2nd at Leopardstown at 4/1. RE: Chesterfield/Chesterfield King - bluepooch - 16-03-2018 At least horse- wise Chesterfield is better than Mansfield .The horse Mansfield last seen plying its trade in low grade all weather races . Came 4th at 16/1. A Chesterfield double would have been 94/1 for the horse and for Chesterfield to beat Cheltenham. RE: Chesterfield/Chesterfield King - Devongone - 16-03-2018 Chesterfield is a lovely horse. Put in a real effort. IF the team tries anywhere near as hard tomorrow they have a real chance. The whole of Cheltenham is very after-the-lord-mayor's-show the Saturday after the racing. I think we might win, especially as Cheltenham will be over-excited having romped home in their local derby with Swindon. (Local knowledge - our house was 600 yards from Whaddon Road.) The best Cheltenham bet of the week was Relegate - which won the Champion Bumper at 25-1. RE: Chesterfield/Chesterfield King - spireitematt - 01-04-2018 Chesterfield King ran at Fairyhouse in the 2:20 and came 4th at 8/1. |
